Our Quinta
We can’t wait to welcome guests for an off-grid camping or glamping experience. Details on availability and bookings will be coming soon!
Our 1-hectare quinta, nestled on the edge of a charming little village on the Gardunha mountain range, offers the perfect blend of nature, tranquillity, and breathtaking views.
The land is home to more than 20 species of organic fruit and nut trees, around 100 olive trees, and direct access to beautiful hiking routes and mountain-bike trails.
The quinta is arranged over several terraces divided by ancient stone walls, creating plenty of peaceful and secluded areas for camping—each with its own unique character and stunning viewpoints.
Guests have access to a cosy cabin equipped with a washing machine, washing-up area, bath, shower, and a state-of-the-art composting toilet. Beside the property, you’ll also find a village font, where you can collect cold, fresh mountain spring water all year round.
To cool off in the warmer months, we have a serene spring-fed plunge pool—perfect for a refreshing dip or for relaxing in the shade of the fig trees.

As for the local area
A short walk takes you to a selection of cafés, bars, a village store, and even a daily collection point for delicious fresh bread. Our quinta is also just 150 metres from a Praia Fluvial (river beach), a lively and popular spot during the summer months.
The village is only a 5-minute drive from the bustling city of Fundão, renowned for its Monday market. The region boasts a wide variety of swimming spots and a diverse selection of stunning natural locations to explore. We’re just 18 miles from Serra da Estrela National Park, home to incredible hiking routes, waterfalls, and beautiful natural swimming pools. The peak of Serra da Estrela is the highest point in mainland Portugal and is covered in snow during the winter months, even offering skiing facilities! In spring, you might even find yourself skiing in the morning and sunbathing by a natural pool an hour later.
If you enjoy a party you are spoilt for choice in this region during Festa season - every weekend during the warmer months there are plenty of traditional Portuguese Festivals taking place in the local villages and surrounding areas which are great fun for the whole family and always include music, performances, delicious food, and celebrate long-standing Portuguese traditions.
Whether you’re seeking fun and adventure or relaxation and simply a chance to slow down and reconnect with nature, our quinta offers a truly unforgettable off-grid escape.
