Join us for our 2026 Olive Harvest Party!

The exact dates and working days of the harvest will be confirmed closer to the time, as this depends on when the olives are ready to harvest. Please bear with us while we wait for Mother Nature to decide!

What’s involved

You’ll join us in harvesting our olives, before helping to prepare them and take them to the local lagar to be pressed into our very own organic olive oil.

All meals will be provided during the working days.

Food, music & good vibes

We’re planning a lively and sociable harvest, with music playing while we work, good food, plenty of laughs and evenings spent around the campfire. Each working day will be around 5-7 hours of harvesting.

Who is it for?

At the moment, we’re able to accommodate people travelling in a self-contained unit, such as their own campervan, as well as those staying in their own tent.

What we’re offering

This is a chance to get hands-on experience of:

• Harvesting olives

• Learning about the production of olive oil

• Preparing and preserving olives for eating

• Experiencing a taste of genuine off-grid living

And, of course, you won’t leave empty-handed!

Take home your own bottle of our organic olive oil, along with a jar of olives to preserve and enjoy.

Work a few days, stay for free

Once the working days are over, you’ll be able to enjoy a free stay at our off-grid Quinta and explore the beautiful mountains of Central Portugal.

For every day you work, you can enjoy a day of free stay afterwards.

For example:

• Work 3 days → enjoy a 3-day stay for free

• Work 5 days → enjoy a 5-day stay for free

• Work 7 days → enjoy a 7-day stay for free

Just to add…

Shortly after our olive harvest, one of Central Portugal’s most popular festivals takes place in a nearby village: the Miscaros Festival of Mushrooms, from 18th–22nd November.

If you’re staying with us around this time, we thoroughly recommend checking it out! It’s easily accessible from our Quinta and is a fantastic way to experience a little more of the local culture.

Facilities at the farm

Everyone staying with us will have access to our cabin facilities, which include:

• A bath and shower

• A state-of-the-art composting loo — with amazing views!

• Seasonal fruit from the Quinta, whenever it’s ripe and available

We can also help with your off-grid power needs during your stay.

Please note: Unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate large motorhomes or caravans due to the narrow access to our property.
