Golden Pear & Cinnamon Pancakes: A Warming Autumn Treat
We’ve been harvesting pears from our trees and experimenting with all sorts of recipes. Out of everything we’ve tried, one new dish has quickly become a family favourite in the Morgan household: pear and cinnamon pancakes.
They’re simple, quick, and a warming treat for those autumn mornings.
Here’s what you’ll need to make 1 serving (2 medium pancakes).
Just scale up depending on how many mouths you’re feeding – we’re a family of five, so we multiply everything by five!
1 pear (peeled and grated)
1 egg
2 heaped tablespoons plain flour
¼ teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon milk
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Method:
Pop everything into a blender, pour into a buttered or oiled frying pan, and cook until golden on one side before flipping.
Serve with an extra sprinkle of cinnamon.
Enjoy!
